This adapter is equipped with AN10 inlet and outlet fittings and features a built-in thermostat that activates at 78°C. The thermostat precisely regulates oil flow, allowing it to bypass the cooler when the engine is cold, ensuring a faster warm-up and improved efficiency. Once the optimal temperature is reached, oil is redirected through the cooler, lowering temperatures and reducing thermal strain.
Compatible with 1989-2005 cars – all NA (Mk1) and NB/NBFL (Mk2/2.5) models.
