MX-5 ND 2.0L Stage 2 Competition Clutch & Light Flywheel

The Competition Clutch Stage 2 Clutch Kits provide up to 80% increase in torque capacity and is properly suited for aggressive street use and moderate track use. The Brass Plus material with its alloy backing matched to a performance pressure plate will provide smooth engagement and extended life. The 2100 Series kits include a Competition Clutch performance pressure plate, a high torque sprung disc with anti-burst steel backed Brass Plus facings, forged steel flywheel, throw out bearing, pilot bearing and alignment tool.

Competition Clutch flywheels are made of 4140 forged steel and are a one-piece design. This helps significantly in reducing the chances of ring gear separation and friction surface warpage. All flywheels can be resurfaced.

Competition Clutch needs a gradual break-in process of about 500 km (300 mile) before any intensive use. This break-in is REQUIRED with performance clutches.
