MX-5 NA/NB Complete Suspension Polyurethane Bushing Kit

Stock rubber suspension bushings are plenty good for a grocery-getter MX-5, but if you want improved stability, more precision and control in suspension and steering, polyurethane is the way to go. And that’s just the tip of the advantage iceberg.

Polyurethane bushings last over twice as long, are less prone to tears or damage by oil, salts, acids, solvents and grime and they withstand higher temperatures. They have higher load-bearing capacity thus causing less play in suspension connection points while maintaining needed flexibility and causing less tire wear. Compared to OEM bushings they are also easier to assemble (no press needed).

We offer a choice of two bushing hardness ratings. The red Performance Street bushings (80 ShA) are similar in hardness to OEM style rubber bushings but are much more durable and give the suspension and steering more precision. This is a good compromise, if you want to keep most of the comfort while improving the driving feel of your MX-5. The yellow Race Track bushings (90 ShA) are harder than the Performance Street version and offer even more precision which makes them ideal for track focused cars.

The complete kit includes polyurethane bushings for all of the suspension components.
