Stainless steel plug for blocking off the oxygen sensor bung hole. Available with weld-on threaded boss option for creating a new thread for additional oxygen sensor.
Oxygen sensor (also known as O2 / lambda sensor), a device measuring oxygen content in exhaust gasses, sits in the exhaust pipe. If for whatever reason (relocating the sensor, using oxygen sensor for engine testing only etc.) you need to remove the sensor, that leaves you with a noisy hole in the exhaust. But we have a solution.
Our plug is made from 304 stainless steel and fits perfectly where the oxygen sensor used to be. It uses the common M18 x 1.5 thread and fits most cars with standard threaded sensor fitting. If you want to create a new threaded bung hole for a new oxygen sensor (on a carbureted car for example), you can choose our kit with weld-on nut / boss.
For easier unscrewing of the plug in the future, apply anti-seize when installing.
